Pension Fund Committee - Thursday 4 September 2025 1.30 pm

The Pension Fund Committee for Durham County Council convened a meeting to address various items, including the overall value and performance of pension fund investments, updates on regulatory matters, and a review of key policy documents. The committee also planned to discuss the internal audit plan and the pension fund administration strategy. County Council - Wednesday 16 July 2025 10.00 am

Durham County Council met on Wednesday, 16 July 2025, for a meeting that included a report from the leader, questions from the public, and discussion of the Corporate Parenting Panel Annual Report. Councillors also voted against extending the time allocated to motions, and ultimately voted to rescind the Climate Emergency Declaration made in 2019, in favour of declaring a County Durham Care Emergency.

The Pension Fund Committee for Durham County Council convened to discuss the overall value and performance of the pension fund, review the Local Pension Board’s annual report, and consider a regulatory update, as well as review the Pension Fund's Service Plan for the coming three-year period.

Annual, County Council - Wednesday 21 May 2025 10.00 am

At the annual meeting of Durham County Council, Councillor Robbie Rodiss was elected as Chair and Councillor Jackie Teasdale as Vice Chair. Councillor Andrew Husband was elected as Leader of the Council, who then announced his Deputy Leader and Cabinet members. The council also approved the scheme of delegation as set out in the Council's Constitution.
