Strategy and Resources Committee - Monday, 8th December, 2025 7.00 pm

The Strategy and Resources Committee are scheduled to meet to discuss the council's financial performance, the progress of the Local Government Association Corporate Peer Challenge, and updates on the Sutton Civic and Town Centre Regeneration project. South London Waste Partnership Joint Committee - Wednesday, 26th November, 2025 6.30 pm

The South London Waste Partnership Joint Committee met to discuss communications and engagement, contract performance, and budget updates. The committee approved the proposed management budget for 2026/27 and noted reports on communications, contract performance, and the budget update for 2025/26. Additionally, the committee addressed concerns raised by Councillor Dave Chill regarding emissions from the Beddington Energy Recovery Facility.

Sutton Local Committee - Thursday, 6th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Sutton Local Committee met to discuss the Sutton Town Centre Public Realm Regeneration plans, receive an update from the Sutton Housing Partnership, and hear a presentation on actions taken towards net zero as part of the Climate Scorecards. The committee was also scheduled to address public questions and approve the minutes from their previous meeting.

Council - Monday, 3rd November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Sutton Council meeting scheduled for 3 November 2025 included discussion of Houses in Multiple Occupation, a motion to support diversity, and the annual report of the Audit and Governance Committee. Councillors were also expected to answer questions.

Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee - Thursday, 9th October, 2025 7.00 pm

The Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee met on 9 October 2025, and agreed to note a petition for 100% plant-based catering at council events, approved the one year review of the Cultural Strategy for Sutton 2024-2027, noted the bi-annual performance monitoring report, agreed the updated Climate Emergency Response Plan, approved the implementation of a lane rental scheme in the borough, approved the highways and transport programme for 2026/2027, and approved the appointment of a preferred bidder for the parking enforcement and operations contract.
