The Passenger Transport Liaison Group meeting was scheduled to cover a range of topics concerning public transport within the borough. Key discussions were expected to focus on public safety across transport networks, updates on significant station improvements and new entrances at Wandsworth Town, Queenstown Road, and Battersea Park stations, and plans for enhanced step-free access on the Underground. Additionally, the meeting was set to address the performance and potential extensions of various bus routes, as well as issues at the Longley Road Bus Stand.

The Grants Sub-Committee met to consider recommendations for the second round of the VCS Cost of Living Grant Fund 2024. Eleven applications were submitted, requesting a total of £153,190. The committee recommended that six of these be granted, for a total of £80,962.

The second, proposed by the Conservatives, expressed concern at the loss of winter fuel payments for many pensioners and called on the Council to take steps to provide for those affected. This motion was defeated, with the Conservatives voting in favour and Labour against. The meeting concluded with the reception of reports from several committees.

The Grants Overview and Scrutiny Sub-Committee of Wandsworth Council met on Thursday 26 September 2024 to consider applications for two grant funds: the VCS Cost of Living Grant Fund, Round 1, and the Wandsworth Grant Fund, Round 27. A total of £150,216 in grants was recommended across both funds.
