Corporate Parenting Board - Wednesday, 19th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The Corporate Parenting Board of Worcestershire Council met on 19 November 2025 to discuss a fostering transformation plan and a children's celebration event, and to review their work plan. Councillor Justin Bowen, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Children and Families, was scheduled to chair the meeting. The board was also expected to confirm the minutes of their previous meeting.

Worcestershire County Council met on 6 November 2025, and councillors primarily discussed the proposal for a single unitary authority in Worcestershire, the interim external auditor's report, and a recommendation to approve changes to the capital programme. The council also considered an amendment to the LGPS Central Shareholder Representative Delegation, and a number of notices of motion.

Planning and Regulatory Committee - Tuesday, 21st October, 2025 10.00 am

The Corporate Parenting Board met to discuss the annual reports for care leavers and youth voice, as well as other matters relating to children and families. The board was also scheduled to appoint a vice-chair and review its work plan.

Waste Credit Governance Committee - Wednesday, 1st October, 2025 10.00 am

The Waste Credit Governance Committee met to review the financial performance and risks associated with the council's loan to Mercia Waste Management (MWM) for the Energy from Waste (EfW) plant in Hartlebury. The committee noted the technical update on the EfW plant reporting requirements, the risk register, and the work plan for the coming year, finding that all relevant financial ratios had improved and no new risks had been identified. The committee agreed that there were no matters of concern to report to the council.
