Review of Car Parking Charges to promote sustainable transport

...to promote sustainable transport, the committee approved enforcement of school keep clear restrictions via ANPR cameras, changes to 30-minute free parking in RPS, a staged increase in Civil Enforcement Officers, removal of free business permits for electric vehicles in RPS, implementation of charges at District Car Parks (with free parking options), and delegated authority for implementation, while also delegating consideration of parking charges on the Downs and a holistic review of RPS operations to the Parking and Kerbside Strategy Task and Finish Group.
