The licensing authority had received an objection notice from the Metropolitan Police, and the sub-committee was scheduled to consider the objection. The sub-committee was to decide whether to issue a counter notice, take no action, or impose conditions.

Environment Select Committee - Tuesday, 17th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's Environment Select Committee convened to discuss several key issues, including support for the Notting Hill Carnival, a breakdown of the council's budget, and the committee's work programme for the upcoming year. The committee also observed a 72 seconds' silence to remember those who lost their lives in the Grenfell tragedy[^1].
