Pensions Advisory Panel - Tuesday 9 December 2025 12.15 pm

The Pensions Advisory Panel is scheduled to meet to discuss the actuarial valuation, investment strategy and responsible investment, as well as updates from the Local Pension Board and Pension Services. The meeting will cover preliminary results from the 2025 actuarial valuation, a review of investment strategy, and an update on the fund's approach to investments in conflict zones.

Ordinary meeting, Council Assembly - Wednesday 12 November 2025 7.00 pm

Southwark Council Assembly met to discuss resident's rights, ethical investments, and local funding, among other items. The council approved changes to its committee structure and investment strategy, and reappointed an independent advisor. Motions were passed regarding fairer funding, ethical investments, improvements to Peckham Rye Station, and Thames Water.

Corporate Parenting Committee - Wednesday 22 October 2025 2.00 pm

The Corporate Parenting Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss several reports and strategies relating to children in care, including the annual virtual head teacher's report, the fostering annual report, and an update on the corporate parenting strategy. They were also scheduled to discuss a report on substance misuse among children in care, and an update on the employability pathway for care leavers.

The Southwark Council Pensions Advisory Panel is scheduled to meet on Tuesday 23 September 2025 to discuss a range of topics related to the management and performance of the council's pension fund. These include updates on investment performance, responsible investment, and the fund's carbon footprint, as well as more general updates on pensions services and cash management policy. Some of these items will be discussed in closed session, excluding the press and public.

Corporate Parenting Committee - Wednesday 16 July 2025 2.00 pm

The Corporate Parenting Committee was scheduled to meet on 16 July 2025 to discuss several issues relating to children in care, including employability pathways for care leavers, the annual health report for looked after children, and the Southwark Homes for Southwark Children programme. The committee was also scheduled to elect a vice-chair and review its work plan for the year.
