Planning Applications Committee - Tuesday 14 January 2025 7.00 pm
The committee voted unanimously to grant planning permission for the change of use of a building in Agnes Riley Gardens to a cafe. A condition was added to require the toilets to remain open to the public when the cafe is open. Councillors also added an informative asking officers to encourage the use of technologies that prevent smells from escaping the building.

The Planning Applications Committee of Lambeth Council approved two applications at its meeting on Tuesday 10 December 2024. Planning permission was granted to Golf Fang Ltd for an indoor golf course in the former House of Vans venue, and to K1 Speed for a go-kart track in Keybridge House.

The committee resolved to grant planning permission for an application at 1, 3-11 Wellfit Street and to grant conditional planning permission for an application at 12-20 Wyvil Road, subject to completion of agreements under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

The Planning Applications Committee resolved to grant planning permission to the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for the demolition of the existing buildings at 7 Glasshouse Walk and construction of a part 6/part 8/part 10 storey building, subject to planning obligations being secured in a Section 106 legal agreement and conditions. The building will contain a Social Sciences incubator space, light industrial space and halls of residence, with 35% of the student rooms being let at the London Plan definition of an 'affordable rent'.[^1]
Review Hearing, Licensing Sub-Committee - Friday 25 October 2024 7.00 pm, NEW
The Licensing Sub-Committee of Lambeth Council met to consider a Summary Review application made by the Metropolitan Police, requesting the revocation of the premises licence for Dirty Blonde, 642 Wandsworth Road, London, SW8 3JW. The Sub-Committee decided to revoke the licence, after hearing representations from the police and the Licensing Authority. A second determination was also made, to suspend the premises licence pending appeal.
