The Hackney Council's Licensing Sub-Committee A convened to discuss a new premises licence for The Mildmay Club and Institute, and consider Temporary Event Notices (TENs) for 72 Rivington Street. The sub-committee approved the recommendations for The Mildmay Club and Institute, and deferred a decision on the TENs.

The Licensing Sub Committee E of Hackney Council met to consider a premises licence application and a summary licence review. Councillor Sharon Patrick, Councillor Gilbert Smyth, and Councillor Christopher Kennedy were the members of the committee.

Licensing Sub Committee A - Wednesday 8 October 2025 7.00 pm

The Hackney Council Licensing Sub-Committee A convened to address several licensing matters. The primary focus was on applications for premises licences for Pretty Earth and 147 Blackstock Road, as well as a representation against interim steps for Sumiya. The meeting also included standard items such as the election of a chair, apologies for absence, declarations of interest, and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting.

Planning Sub-Committee Secretary

Planning Sub-Committee - Wednesday 8 October 2025 6.30 pm

The Hackney Council Planning Sub-Committee met on 8 October 2025, to discuss several planning applications, including a large development at the Shoreditch Island Site, the construction of new residential dwellings on the Nye Bevan Estate, and the change of use of existing properties to children's homes at 38 Firsby Road and 15 Triangle Road. The sub-committee approved the minutes from the previous meeting, and also approved all of the planning applications that were discussed, with the exception of the application for 9 Clifden Road, which was deferred.
