Wiltshire Pension Fund Committee - Thursday 9 October 2025 10.00 am
The Wiltshire Pension Fund Committee met on 9 October 2025 to discuss the triennial valuation of the fund, a new conflicts of interest policy, and a new breach policy, among other items. Representatives from Barnett Waddingham were expected to present the initial results of the 2025 triennial valuation for the Committee's review. The committee was also scheduled to review the forward work plan for the committee.
Malmesbury Area Board - Tuesday 7 October 2025 7.00 pm
The Malmesbury Area Board met to discuss local priorities, receive updates from partners including the Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable for Wiltshire, and to approve recommendations from the Local Highway and Footway Improvement Group (LHFIG). The board agreed to adopt the priorities outlined in the Area Board Priorities & Action Plan, and approved the recommendations from the LHFIG meeting held on 15 July 2025. The Board also noted a grant awarded under delegated authority of £205 for a Malmesbury Community Day.
Cabinet - Tuesday 7 October 2025 10.00 am
Wiltshire Council's cabinet convened to discuss a range of issues, including the adoption of a new council plan, climate emergency response, and asset management. Key decisions included approving a policy to remove parking charges for blue badge holders and recommending the adoption of the Our Wiltshire Plan 2025-35 to the full council. The cabinet also discussed the future of St Stephen's Place car park in Trowbridge, with a decision deferred to a later closed session.

The public were excluded from discussions on the Stone Circle companies because of the commercially sensitive nature of the information to be discussed. The meeting was held at County Hall, Trowbridge.
