...to address rising homelessness, Hackney Council resolved to sign the London Charter to End Rough Sleeping and to urge the government to increase funding and support for homelessness prevention and affordable housing initiatives.

...to approve the minutes of the previous meeting held on 24 July 2024 as a true and accurate record.

...to approve the appointments or nominations of Councillors to outside bodies as detailed in Appendix 1.

...to adopt and implement with immediate effect a policy on Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Checks for the Elected Mayor, Councillors, and Co-Optees, and to authorize the Monitoring Officer to include this policy in the Council's Constitution.
