The Wiltshire Council Cabinet met on 11 November 2025 and approved an increase to the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) allocation for the Chippenham Avon Project, as well as the quarterly revenue and capital budget monitoring reports, and the Treasury Management Strategy report. Extraordinary Meeting, Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee - Thursday 16 October 2025 10.30 am
The Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee met to consider a call-in request regarding the Cabinet's decision to approve the freehold transfer of the St Stephens Multi-Storey Car Park in Trowbridge to the owner of the adjoining Castle Place Shopping Centre. Councillors who requested the call-in argued that the Cabinet's decision did not adhere to the council's principles of decision-making. The committee decided to refer the decision back to the Cabinet for reconsideration.

The Wiltshire Council Cabinet met to discuss and approve a future development aligned with the council's Accommodation Strategy for Older People, which will focus on nursing home provision in West Wiltshire.
