This report provides an update in respect of the Liverpool City Region UK Shared Prosperity Fund Programme and seeks approval to accept the Council’s 2025/26 allocation of £2,029,068 and subsequently approve the areas for delivery.

The Birkenhead 2040 Framework was endorsed by this Committee as the interim regeneration strategy for Wirral in March 2022. This document sets out that delivery of the Birkenhead 2040 Framework will be supported by more detailed Neighbourhood Frameworks and Masterplans setting out the regeneration objectives and strategies for specific areas.
