The Overview and Scrutiny Committee of Hounslow Council met to discuss the council's delivery plan, support for unpaid carers, and the committee's work programme. The committee reviewed the council's Delivery Plan 2022-2026 and provided feedback on the new Hounslow Carers Service. The committee also agreed to its work programme for the coming year.

The panel was also scheduled to discuss next steps, visits, and a review of good practice. Councillor Hina Mir, Chair of the panel, was scheduled to welcome attendees to the meeting.

The Hounslow Borough Council met on 16 September 2025, and among other things, noted the State of the Borough 2025 report, approved the Hounslow Youth Justice Service Plan 2024-2027 (updated 2025), and agreed to participate in a flexible voting pilot for the May 2026 local elections, subject to government approval. The council also discussed tributes to the late Councillor Sukhbir Singh Dhaliwal, petitions, licensing policies, scrutiny reports, the appointment of a Chief Executive, appointments to committees, and motions on waste, child poverty, and culture.

The Hounslow Planning Committee met to discuss several planning applications, including a large mixed-use development at the Sega Site on the Great West Road, and the redevelopment of Griffin Park, the former Brentford Football Club stadium. The committee approved the Sega Site development, after adding a condition to reduce parking provision, and also approved the Griffin Park redevelopment.

The Planning Committee of Hounslow Council met on 7 August 2025, to discuss several planning applications, including a major redevelopment project at 1 Burlington Lane, Chiswick, and temporary use requests for Gunnersbury Park. Councillors approved the Burlington Lane development despite concerns about its impact on heritage assets, and approved the temporary use of Gunnersbury Park for a music event, while also considering applications related to Rivers Academy and a certificate of lawfulness for 10 Almorah Road.
