The Overview and Scrutiny Committee of Hounslow Council met to discuss the council's delivery plan, support for unpaid carers, and the committee's work programme. The committee reviewed the council's Delivery Plan 2022-2026 and provided feedback on the new Hounslow Carers Service. The committee also agreed to its work programme for the coming year.

The Hounslow Borough Council met on 16 September 2025, and among other things, noted the State of the Borough 2025 report, approved the Hounslow Youth Justice Service Plan 2024-2027 (updated 2025), and agreed to participate in a flexible voting pilot for the May 2026 local elections, subject to government approval. The council also discussed tributes to the late Councillor Sukhbir Singh Dhaliwal, petitions, licensing policies, scrutiny reports, the appointment of a Chief Executive, appointments to committees, and motions on waste, child poverty, and culture.

The Hounslow Borough Council met to discuss a range of issues, including licensing policies, scrutiny reports, and community concerns, and also to appoint a new chief executive. The council approved the updated Statement of Licensing Policy, noted the Scrutiny Annual Report, declared war on waste criminals, supported the free school meal extension, and committed to putting culture at the heart of its growth strategy. Mandy Skinner was appointed as the new chief executive and returning officer.

Chiswick Area Forum Chair

The Chiswick Area Forum met to discuss weed management, concerns about events at Gunnersbury Park, and to hear an introduction to the work of WildChiswick. The meeting also provided an opportunity for residents to raise local concerns during an open forum. Additionally, the forum was scheduled to review ongoing issues and the minutes from their previous meeting.

The Hounslow Council Overview and Scrutiny Committee met on 9 June 2025 and agreed on the appointment of Councillor Max Mosley as Vice-Chair of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee. They also agreed on the appointment of Councillor Emma Siddhu, Councillor Adesh Farmahan, and Councillor Hina Mir as Scrutiny Panel Chairs for the Children & Young People Scrutiny Panel, the Health & Adults Care Scrutiny Panel, and the Housing & Environment Scrutiny Panel respectively.
