The meeting included four petitions on a variety of matters, discussion of the ‘state of the borough’ report, the appointment of a new Monitoring Officer and four proposed motions for debate by members. In addition the council considered reports on treasury management, the adoption of a new gambling policy, and constitutional matters. Lastly, five written questions to cabinet members were answered.

This meeting of the Central Hounslow Area Forum included a scheduled presentation about the Hounslow Highways Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract, a consultation on the draft Community Safety Strategy and an open forum for questions from the public.

This meeting was scheduled to discuss a range of topics including petitions, the state of the borough, the appointment of a new monitoring officer, questions from councillors, and three motions. A report on two petitions referred for consideration by ward councillors was also scheduled to be noted by the council.

Pension Fund Panel

Pension Fund Panel - Monday, 16 September 2024 5:00 pm

The Pension Fund Panel noted the detail outlined in each of the reports presented to them. The Panel noted that there was a plan to recruit two new pension officers at a lower level and agreed that they should be promoted as they gain experience. The Panel also agreed to note the progress on the transfer of Pension Fund assets to implement the agreed strategic asset allocation.
