Marlborough Area Board - Tuesday 30 September 2025 7.00 pm

The Marlborough Area Board met to discuss community grants, local highway improvements, and updates from partners such as the police and local charities. Councillors approved funding for the Aldbourne Scouts and Guides Supporters Association and Marlborough Hockey Club, and split funding for the Monday Club between the Young People's Grant budget and the Older and Vulnerable Adult's Grant budget. The board also ratified recommendations from the Local Highway and Footway Improvement Group (LHFIG) regarding speed limit revisions on Frees Avenue and the A4.

Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel - Thursday 11 September 2025 10.00 am

Council - Tuesday 22 July 2025 10.30 am

Wiltshire Council met on 22 July 2025, and among the topics discussed were youth services, treasury management, a bat mitigation strategy, and a motion to repudiate the council's climate emergency declaration. Councillors also debated and voted on motions regarding weight limits on roads and the Ask Angela scheme.

Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel - Thursday 26 June 2025 10.30 am

The Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel met to discuss a range of issues, including the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer, an update from Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson, OBE, MPhil, and a report on the Police and Crime Plan. Marlborough Area Board - Tuesday 3 June 2025 7.00 pm

The board agreed to cap community area grants at £3,000 to support a wider range of projects and approved funding for Winterbourne Monkton Community Hall, the Jubilee Centre, Marlborough Community Orchard, and Marlborough Area Poverty Action Group. Councillor James Sheppard was appointed as the Area Board's environment lead, and Councillor Jane Davies will continue as the lead for health and wellbeing and as the representative on the Avebury World Heritage Site Steering Committee.
