The Constitution Committee convened to review the Annual Governance Statement (AGS) and the Constitution, recommending approval for both with a minor amendment to the latter. The 2024-25 AGS was approved, and the Director of Corporate Resources was authorised to make necessary updates aligning with the finalised Statement of Accounts and Pension Fund, with changes reported to the Corporate Governance Committee and the Leader. Proposed changes to the Constitution were recommended for approval by the County Council, pending a change to Article 6.06.

Investment Subcommittee Officer

The Investment Subcommittee of Leicestershire County Council met on 1 October 2025 to discuss the minutes of their previous meeting, future meeting dates, and a review of the Fund's property, private debt and private equity investments. Hymans Robertson, the Fund's investment advisor, were scheduled to deliver a presentation as part of the discussion on investments. Some of the discussion on investments was expected to be held with the press and public excluded.

The Local Pension Committee was scheduled to meet on Friday, 26 September 2025, at County Hall in Glenfield to discuss several items, including the Local Pension Board's annual report, the pension fund valuation, and responsible investment updates. The meeting was also scheduled to cover the pension fund's annual report and accounts, and a budget monitoring update.

Corporate Governance Committee Officer
