Adult Social Care & Health Select Committee - Wednesday, 18th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Adult Social Care & Health Select Committee met to discuss dentistry and oral health, community pharmacies, and the pharmaceutical needs assessment (PNA). Councillors agreed to the scrutiny priorities for the municipal year, and to develop a detailed work programme. The committee noted that the 18 September meeting would need to be rescheduled to allow scrutiny of the Safeguarding Adults' Executive Board Annual Report.

Leadership Team - Wednesday, 4th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Kensington and Chelsea Leadership Team were scheduled to discuss a settlement of civil claims related to the Grenfell Tower disaster, an arrangement with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) Pension Fund to help alleviate the temporary accommodation crisis, and an update on the Notting Dale Heat Network programme. They were also scheduled to confirm the minutes of their previous meeting.

Joint Health & Wellbeing Board - Thursday, 22nd May, 2025 4.00 pm

The Joint Health and Wellbeing Board of Kensington and Chelsea Council were scheduled to discuss mental health, the Better Care Fund, and pharmaceutical needs at their meeting. The board was also scheduled to review the minutes from previous meetings.

Meetings of Council-side Committees - Wednesday, 21st May, 2025 6.40 pm

The Meetings of Council-side Committees were scheduled to take place on 21 May 2025, following the Annual Council Meeting. The agenda included noting changes to committee membership and approving the appointment of chairs and vice-chairs. Councillor Will Lane, the Mayor, was scheduled to chair the meeting.

At the annual general meeting of Kensington and Chelsea Council, Councillor Tom Bennett was elected as Mayor for the coming year, with Councillor Arian Oretti appointed as Deputy Mayor. The council also conducted its annual review of committee representation and appointments, ensuring political balance across its various committees and outside organisations. Additionally, the council paid tribute to the outgoing Mayor, Councillor Will Lane, and Deputy Mayor, Councillor Laura Burns, for their service over the past year.
