In a meeting of the Wandsworth Council cabinet, Councillor Simon Hogg, Leader of the Council, celebrated the council tax freeze, the borough becoming London's borough of culture, and the opening of a new family hub in Tooting. Cabinet members also provided updates on transport, health, housing, business, culture, and finance.

The meeting approved the Council’s budget, including a council tax freeze for the third year in a row. The meeting also approved a package of reforms to the Council’s constitution, including new rules about which decisions are treated as “key decisions” and a new process for scrutinising Cabinet decisions.

The cabinet also agreed to the adoption of a new voluntary sector strategy, a set of climate change focused policies, and new plans for the borough's leisure infrastructure and tree maintenance.
