Eastern Area Planning Committee - Thursday 2 October 2025 3.00 pm

The Eastern Area Planning Committee of Wiltshire Council met on 2 October 2025, and approved a dormer extension and retrospective change of use at The Barn, Spin Hill, and a two-storey side and rear extension at 8 Duck Street, Potterne, both subject to conditions. The committee also noted several planning appeals and updates.

Eastern Area Planning Committee - Thursday 4 September 2025 3.00 pm

The Eastern Area Planning Committee met to discuss objections to the proposed modification of definitive maps and statements for Collingbourne Kingston. The committee voted to forward The Wiltshire Council Parish of Collingbourne Kingston Path Nos. 1B,8 and 9 Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2025 to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (SoSEFRA) with a recommendation for confirmation without modification.

School Transport Appeal - BF, Appeals Sub-Committee (School Transport) - Tuesday 2 September 2025 1.00 pm

The Appeals Sub-Committee (School Transport) met to consider a school transport appeal. Councillor Adrian Foster was elected as Chairman for the meeting. The panel upheld the original decision that there was no obligation to provide free home to school transport, and found no exceptional circumstances that would necessitate a discretionary decision to depart from policy.

Informal Meeting, Tidworth Area Board - Monday 1 September 2025 7.00 pm

The Tidworth Area Board met to discuss local priorities, funding, and highway improvements. The board considered a report on area board priorities and agreed to support the delivery of identified actions. Councillors also reviewed and discussed recommendations from the Local Highway and Footway Improvement Group (LHFIG), including funding for new street name plates in Everleigh and double yellow lines in Tidworth.

Council - Tuesday 22 July 2025 10.30 am

Wiltshire Council met on 22 July 2025, and among the topics discussed were youth services, treasury management, a bat mitigation strategy, and a motion to repudiate the council's climate emergency declaration. Councillors also debated and voted on motions regarding weight limits on roads and the Ask Angela scheme.
