The Kensington and Chelsea Full Council met to discuss a range of issues, including community safety, the impact of national insurance contributions, and step-free access at South Kensington station. The council agreed to note reports on urgent decisions and community safety, and also agreed to request that the Lead Member for Finance investigate the implications of changes to National Insurance Contributions (NICs) and make a written submission to the government.

At the annual general meeting of Kensington and Chelsea Council, Councillor Tom Bennett was elected as Mayor for the coming year, with Councillor Arian Oretti appointed as Deputy Mayor. The council also conducted its annual review of committee representation and appointments, ensuring political balance across its various committees and outside organisations. Additionally, the council paid tribute to the outgoing Mayor, Councillor Will Lane, and Deputy Mayor, Councillor Laura Burns, for their service over the past year.
