...to enhance provision and increase places for pupils with additional needs at Spring Brook Upper School, the Cabinet of Oldham approved a capital project allocating funding from the High Needs Capital Allocation (HNPCA) and Basic Need Grant to create 36 new places.

...the Cabinet approved the recommendations to note the contents of the report, the forecast revenue position at the end of Quarter 2, the forecast positions for the Dedicated Schools Grant and Housing Revenue Account, and the revised Capital Programme for 2025/26 including proposed virements, and to note the forecast for the financial years to 2029/30 as at the end of Quarter 2.

...to ensure continued service for domestic property disability adaptations, the Cabinet approved ending the current framework agreements on November 30, 2025, requesting an exemption from Contract Procedure Rules, approving a direct award to the current four providers under a one-year framework agreement from December 2025 to November 2026, and approving a 5% uplift to the current contract rates backdated from April 2025.
