Licensing Sub-Committee Committee Member

Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday, 10th November, 2025 10.30 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee met on Monday to discuss an application for a premises licence at Wandle Park Cafe, and ultimately decided to grant the application. The licence is subject to conditions offered by the applicant, mandatory conditions imposed under the Licensing Act 2003, and an additional condition that alcohol can only be sold with a meal.

Council - Wednesday, 22nd October, 2025 6.30 pm

At a meeting of Croydon Council, the lead commissioner gave a statement on behalf of the commissioners, the council approved recommendations regarding external audit findings and extension to the term of the Independent Chair of Audit and Governance Committee, and councillors debated traffic calming measures on Spa Hill and improvements to Courtwood Park. The council also discussed a range of questions from the public, including concerns about building safety at The Fold and Malcolm Wicks House.

Health & Wellbeing Board Deputy-Chair

Health & Wellbeing Board - Wednesday, 15th October, 2025 2.00 pm

The Croydon Council Health and Wellbeing Board convened to discuss mental health initiatives, anti-racism efforts, the Better Care Fund, and the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, among other items. The board agreed to publish the 2025 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, and also approved plans for a workshop to shape the council's strategic approach to anti-racism.
