Central Durham Crematorium Joint Committee - Wednesday 23 April 2025 2.00 pm
The Central Durham Crematorium Joint Committee met to discuss performance, finances, risk management and audit reports. Highways Committee - Tuesday 15 April 2025 9.30 am
The Highways Committee met to discuss traffic calming measures in Seaham and Langley Park, as well as proposed changes to the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) in Durham City. The committee endorsed proposals for a one-way system and traffic calming on Ash Crescent, Seaham, and for traffic calming on C62 Low Moor Road, Langley Park. They also endorsed changes to the Durham City TRO, including an increase to the road user charge.
Corporate Parenting Panel - Friday 11 April 2025 9.30 am
The Corporate Parenting Panel of Durham County Council met on 11 April 2025 to discuss the annual update from the Children with Disabilities Team, regulation 44 visits to external children's homes, and updates from Ofsted. The panel was also scheduled to receive verbal updates on the number of children in care and care leavers, proud moments, and Care Day 2025.
