School Admission Arrangements 2027-28

...the Council agreed to make no changes to its school admission arrangements for 2027-28, except for reducing the Published Admission Number (PAN) of Rudyard Kipling Primary School to 30, Downs Junior School to 96, changing secondary school admission priorities to apply the sibling link regardless of catchment area, and altering the way waiting lists are operated.

Review of the Council’s Constitution

...to formally approve changes to the Constitution regarding increased task & finish groups, extended public question time for Overview & Scrutiny, clarified rules for Extraordinary Council meetings, a longer notice period for member written questions, and to establish a cross-party working group for future constitutional changes, while authorizing the Chief Executive and Monitoring Officer to implement these changes and republish the Constitution.
