This meeting was about a single Licensing application for Simmons, a bar on Curtain Road. The applicant, Simmons Shoreditch Limited, requested to vary its licence to allow it to sell alcohol until 4am on Friday and Saturday nights, to remove a restriction on the sale of alcohol on Good Friday and to replace the existing conditions on the licence. There were representations made against the application by PC Amanda Griggs for the Metropolitan Police, Channing Riviere for the Licensing Authority, and 52 other people.
