Consideration of proposals for a long lease of Southover House to Charleston Lewes Limited   Delegation requested for the Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Regeneration and Planning in consultation with the Lead member for finance, assets and community wealth building to take all necessary steps to enter into a lease of Southover House with Charleston Lewes Limited, including completion of all ancillary documents.   To also consider potential land acquisitions and assembly.

The Future of Grounds Maintenance

The report will bring forward options and recommendations for successor arrangements to replace the current Grounds Maintenance contract with ID Verde which terminates in March 2026.  A decision will be required with regards to the options presented and recommendations proposed to agree and determine successor arrangements for both Lewes and Eastbourne councils.

Eastbourne Tourist Accommodation Retention Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)

The existing Tourist Accommodation Retention Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) is being revised to reflect changes in the tourism and accommodation industry. Cabinet decision required to give authority to publish the draft Tourist Accommodation Retention SPD for public consultation in accordance with Regulation 13 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.
