The meeting included reviewing and approving the risk assessment for governance arrangements, the annual governance statement, the revenue outturn for the year ending 31 March 2025, the annual return for the year ended 31 March 2025, and honorary freedom arrangements. Councillors were expected to discuss and approve these items.

Area Planning Committee (Central and East) - Tuesday 8 July 2025 1.00 pm

The Area Planning Committee (Central and East) were scheduled to discuss two planning applications relating to changes of use for properties in Durham. Both applications concerned the conversion of dwellinghouses into houses in multiple occupation[^1] (HMOs).

The Central Durham Crematorium Joint Committee met to discuss a mid-year increase to cremation fees, the annual governance statement, and the revenue outturn for the financial year.
