The Croydon Council meeting on 10 December 2025 addressed several key issues, including fair funding for the borough, the Equality Strategy, and the appointment of an interim chief executive. The council voted to support fair funding for Croydon and approved the appointment of Elaine Jackson as Interim Chief Executive. An amendment to the Equality Strategy annual report was approved, with Councillor Rhea Patel of the Green Party, successfully arguing that the council can do better .

Pension Committee - Tuesday, 9th December, 2025 10.00 am

The Croydon Council Pension Committee met on 9 December 2025 to discuss updates on the Local Government Pension Scheme, performance indicators, and risk management. The committee was also scheduled to discuss contractual arrangements and responsible investment with the London CIV[^2]. Some items, including the investment strategy review, were scheduled to be discussed in Part B of the meeting, from which the press and public were excluded.

South London Waste Partnership Joint Committee - Wednesday, 26th November, 2025 6.30 pm

The South London Waste Partnership Joint Committee met to discuss communications and stakeholder engagement, contract performance, and budget updates. The committee approved the proposed management budget for 2026/27, which will be £177,000 per borough, and noted the contents of the communications and engagement update, the contracts performance report, and the budget update for 2025/26.

Scrutiny Health & Social Care Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 11th November, 2025 6.30 pm

The Scrutiny Health & Social Care Sub-Committee are scheduled to meet on 11 November 2025 to discuss winter contingency plans, the Adult Social Care and Health (ASCH) budget, and the outcome of a Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection. The committee will also receive an update from Healthwatch Croydon and review its work programme for the year.

Croydon & Lewisham Street Lighting Joint Committee - Tuesday, 4th November, 2025 6.30 pm

The Croydon & Lewisham Street Lighting Joint Committee is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, 4 November 2025. The meeting will cover the appointment of a chair and vice-chair, and an update on the Joint Street Lighting Private Finance Initiative (PFI). Councillors will also be asked to exclude the press and public from part of the meeting.
