The Hackney Council Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee decided on 07/04/2025 to agree a contract variation of £2.5m for the Hackney and City Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service for the financial year 2025/26. The committee also agreed to delegate authority to the Director of Public Health to award 2026/27 funding up to £2.5m, pending central government confirmation. This decision increases the potential maximum contract value to £34m.

The Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee of Hackney Council decided to approve Lot 1, awarding contracts to two specialist roofing and scaffolding contractors for approximately £1.7m per year. They deferred approval of Lot 2, one specialist contractor for scaffolding inspections, pending a review of insourcing options. The Committee also decided not to delegate authority to the Group Director, Climate Homes and Economy to award these contracts.

The Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee of Hackney Council approved the appointment of providers for an Emergency Accommodation Dynamic Purchasing System on 07/04/2025. The decision agreed to appoint providers who passed the Supplier Questionnaire and to admit minimum quality score suppliers to the DPS for a period of up to three years with a maximum expenditure of £4.38M. The Assistant Director of Adults Social Care Commissioning was granted delegated authority for future provider admissions, and subsequent routes and ad-hoc journey requirements were approved as per the scheme of delegation.
