...to mitigate the increasing risk of fires at waste transfer stations, the Lead Member approved a 50% contribution towards installing fire suppression systems at Maresfield and Pebsham waste transfer stations, subject to Council approval of a Capital Programme variation, and delegated authority to the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport to finalize the agreement with Veolia.

...to relocate the Hastings Register Office for births, deaths, and marriages to Hastings Library, subject to planning permission, to improve service delivery and save £100,000, refocus the ceremony venues offer, and delegate authority to the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport to approve the detailed scheme of works.

...to note the progress of the Lane Rental Scheme, how surplus funds will be allocated, to agree to delegate authority to the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport to approve Lane Rental surplus bids under £500,000, and to recommend that the County Council update the Constitution accordingly.
