Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission - Tuesday 24 June 2025 7.00 pm
The Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission met to discuss quality accounts from Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and St Joseph's Hospice, adult social care inspection preparations, and substance misuse support in the borough. The commission agreed to a work programme for the coming year, and noted the results of public engagement on scrutiny topics.

This joint session of the Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission and the Children and Young People Scrutiny Commission focused on neurodevelopmental pathways for autism and ADHD in both children and adults. The discussion covered the increase in diagnoses, efforts to reduce waiting lists, early identification strategies, and the impact of assessment delays. The meeting also highlighted the implementation of the City and Hackney Autistic Friendly Neighbourhood Pilot and a feasibility study for an Autism Hub.

Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission - Thursday 13 February 2025 7.00 pm
The Commission heard from Dr Kirsten Brown, the incoming Clinical Director for City and Hackney about the Enhanced Primary Care Services and the risk that funding for some of them might not continue after April 2025. The meeting concluded with a discussion with Keep Our NHS Public representatives about the Integrated Care Board's budget overspend.
Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission - Thursday 16 January 2025 7.00 pm
The Commission received a presentation on the King's Park Moving Together Project and a report on the programme's impact on local communities. It also received an update on the Transforming Outcomes Programme in Adult Social Care, heard from Cabinet Member for Health, Adult Social Care, Voluntary Sector and Culture, Councillor Christopher Kennedy, on three areas of concern and agreed the minutes of the previous meeting.
