Cabinet - Monday 23 June 2025 6.00 pm
The Hackney Council Cabinet met on 23 June 2025, and approved the Evening and Night Time Economy Strategy, and agreed to consult on an extension to the Public Spaces Protection Order for Wick Woodlands, Hackney Marshes and the surrounding areas. They also approved the creation of a Housing Advisory Panel. The Cabinet also discussed the overall financial position of the council, a capital update, and property disposals and acquisitions.
Skills, Economy and Growth Scrutiny Commission - Monday 16 June 2025 7.00 pm
The Skills, Economy and Growth Scrutiny Commission met to discuss corporate property management, fleet decarbonisation, and to plan their work programme for the coming year. Councillors reviewed the council's progress on asset transformation and fleet electrification, and discussed how these initiatives align with the council's strategic goals and financial position. The commission also agreed the minutes of their previous meeting held on 10 March 2025.
Licensing Sub Committee D - Thursday 29 May 2025 2.00 pm

Licensing Committee - Wednesday 21 May 2025 7.00 pm
The Hackney Council Licensing Committee convened to discuss and approve several key items, including the Late Night Levy's financial performance and future strategies, and the establishment of licensing sub-committees for the upcoming year. Councillor Gilbert Smyth was noted as Chair and Councillor Richard Lufkin as Vice Chair. The committee approved recommendations regarding the Late Night Levy annual financial report, the Late Night Levy Year 8 Quarter 1 update, and the establishment of five licensing sub-committees for 2025/26.
Cabinet - Monday 19 May 2025 6.00 pm
The Cabinet of Hackney Council scheduled a meeting to discuss a range of issues, including the capital programme, property disposals, smoke control orders, appointments to outside bodies and a proposal to consult on changes to the adult care charging policy. The meeting was also scheduled to consider a report from the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman.
