Licensing Sub Committee C - Monday 11 November 2024 7.00 pm

The Licensing Sub-Committee heard an application for a new premises licence for Malavenda Cafe, at Unit 6, 1E Mentmore Terrace. The application was granted, with conditions. The Sub-Committee also considered a variation to the premises licence of Draughts, at 41 Kingsland High Street. The applicant withdrew their request to remove an existing condition, but the application to add two new conditions was granted.

Licensing Sub Committee B - Tuesday 29 October 2024 7.00 pm

This meeting was scheduled to consider one new premises licence application and one variation to an existing premises licence. The meeting was also scheduled to hear representations on applications for Temporary Event Notices, which allow the sale of alcohol for up to 168 hours.

Cabinet - Monday 28 October 2024 6.00 pm

The Cabinet noted the minutes of the previous meeting and the minutes of the Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee. They approved the Overall Financial Position Report - August 2024, the Capital Update and Property Disposals And Acquisitions report, a proposal for a Hackney Council Agency Joint Venture with Commercial Services Kent Ltd (CSKL), the City and Hackney Safeguarding Adults Board Annual Report 2023-24, and an updated list of appointments and nominations.

Council - Wednesday 18 September 2024 7.00 pm

This meeting of Hackney Council was scheduled to include the results of recent by-elections, public questions to the Cabinet, the annual update on the Climate Action Plan, the adoption of a policy on Disclosure and Barring Service Checks for elected members, the annual report of the Overview and Scrutiny Panel, appointments to Outside Bodies and the consideration of six motions.
