The Wandsworth Council Planning Applications Committee is scheduled to meet on 26 February 2025 to review several planning applications, enforcement actions regarding alleged breaches of planning control, and reports on recent planning decisions and closed enforcement appeals. The committee will also look at a request to vary an existing Section 106 agreement[^2] related to affordable housing.

Wandsworth Council

The Environment Overview and Scrutiny Committee of Wandsworth Council met on 26 November 2025 to discuss the Cleaner Borough project, the Lead Local Flood Authority, and the Battersea parkrun. The committee was also scheduled to discuss its work programme.

The Children's Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the drivers of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and to review the annual complaints report. The committee also discussed its work programme for the coming year.

The Wandsworth Borough Council's Children's Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss a report by the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Task and Finish Group on its scoping report. The Task and Finish Group was established to look at the prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The report sets out the scope of the review for the Children's OSC's and Health OSC's consideration.

Wandsworth Council

The Wandsworth Council's General Overview and Scrutiny Committee convened to discuss the proposed closure of Bradstow Community Special School in Kent. After hearing arguments for and against the closure, the committee voted to take no further action, effectively allowing the Cabinet's decision to close the school to proceed. This decision was made despite concerns raised about the impact on vulnerable children and the financial implications for the council.
