Audit Committee - Wednesday 9 April 2025 6.30 pm
The Hackney Council Audit Committee convened to discuss the auditor's annual report, financial updates, risk management, and future audit plans, with a significant focus on the council's financial sustainability and the challenges posed by increasing demand for services. Children and Young People Scrutiny Commission - Monday 17 March 2025 7.00 pm
This meeting was the second evidence gathering session of the Commission's in-depth review of behaviour management and school inclusion in Hackney. The Commission received evidence from teaching unions and a written submission from the Department for Education. They also reviewed their work programme for the remainder of the year.
