The Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee met on 9 October 2025, and agreed to note a petition for 100% plant-based catering at council events, approved the one year review of the Cultural Strategy for Sutton 2024-2027, noted the bi-annual performance monitoring report, agreed the updated Climate Emergency Response Plan, approved the implementation of a lane rental scheme in the borough, approved the highways and transport programme for 2026/2027, and approved the appointment of a preferred bidder for the parking enforcement and operations contract.

Extraordinary Meeting, Council - Monday, 29th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Council of the London Borough of Sutton is holding an extraordinary meeting on Monday, 29 September 2025. Councillors will be asked to designate a permanent Monitoring Officer, and to note the interim arrangements in place until that officer starts in post.

Hackbridge, St Helier and The Wrythe Local Committee - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 7.00 pm

The Hackbridge, St Helier and The Wrythe Local Committee met on 17 July 2025 to discuss the findings of a flood investigation, local funding updates, and to hear community showcases from the 219 (Sutton & Cheam) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets and Radio St Helier. The committee was also scheduled to address public questions.

Council - Monday, 14th July, 2025 7.00 pm

The Sutton Council meeting on 14 July 2025 included discussion of a number of motions, including the protection of Greenbelt land, helping residents through hard times, addressing the deterioration of Mill Green Mitcham Common, and Parkinson's awareness. Councillors also addressed questions about Sutton Housing Partnership repairs, Transport for London (TfL) works, the future of Healthwatch, the Victoria House site, carbon emissions, support for the charity sector, resident participation in planning, welfare reforms, and the committee system in local councils.
