Council - Wednesday 27 November 2024 7.00 pm
This meeting was the third ordinary meeting of the 2024/2025 Municipal Year. It included discussion of a petition, scheduled questions from members of the public and Councillors, a report on the work of the Standards Committee, and consideration of motions on the hostile environment, rough sleeping, drug harm reduction and the two-child benefit cap. It also included the appointment of Councillors to outside bodies and the review of political balance on the Council's committees.
Cabinet - Monday 25 November 2024 6.00 pm
The Cabinet noted the minutes of the previous meetings and approved two new capital schemes totalling £659k to improve the Council's IT systems. The Cabinet also approved a new lease for Zer Cafe in Goodchild Road, and approved the sale of the vacant office building at 17 Sylvester Road.
Licensing Committee - Tuesday 12 November 2024 7.00 pm
This meeting of the Licensing Committee included a report on the activities of the Late Night Levy during the third quarter of Year 7 (1 May to 31 July 2024) and a proposed review of the Gambling Statement of Principles.

The Health and Wellbeing Board of Hackney Council was scheduled to discuss a range of important public health issues, including the ongoing challenges of rough sleeping, strategies for tackling obesity, and an update on suicide prevention efforts.
