The Kensington and Chelsea Full Council met to discuss a range of issues, including community safety, the impact of national insurance contributions, and step-free access at South Kensington station. The council agreed to note reports on urgent decisions and community safety, and also agreed to request that the Lead Member for Finance investigate the implications of changes to National Insurance Contributions (NICs) and make a written submission to the government.

The Planning Applications Committee of Kensington and Chelsea Council met on 24 June 2025, to discuss a range of planning and advertisement applications. The committee approved most applications, but refused an application to build a mansard roof extension at Palace Place Mansions due to fire safety concerns and its impact on the conservation area, and another for retrospective permission for window and door replacements at 17 South End due to the impact on the conservation area.

At the annual general meeting of Kensington and Chelsea Council, Councillor Tom Bennett was elected as Mayor for the coming year, with Councillor Arian Oretti appointed as Deputy Mayor. Additionally, the council paid tribute to the outgoing Mayor, Councillor Will Lane, and Deputy Mayor, Councillor Laura Burns, for their service over the past year.
