Committee in Common between Cornwall Health and Wellbeing Board and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Partnership

The background, purpose and functions of the Cornwall Health and Wellbeing Board and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Partnership are inextricably linked with areas of duplication.  The areas of duplication extend to some of the membership of the forums.  These reasons combined provide the basis for aligning the forums into a Committee in Common to ensure the most effective ways of working are harnessed to drive improvements in the integration of public health, prevention, health and social care provision for the population of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.   The Cornwall Health and Wellbeing Board and the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Partnership are legally distinct.  They are two separate statutory committees but for these purposes meeting as a Committee in Common with aligned Terms of Reference.
