Planning and Licensing Committee is responsible for all functions relating to development control aspects of Town and Country Planning, (including determination of planning applications, enforcement action, listed building consent, conservation area consent and control of advertisements) as well as all the functions of the Council under the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005. The exception is functions that the aforementioned Acts require to be Council decisions.
