Borough and Parish Councils' Forum

The terms of reference of the Forum shall be to provide an opportunity for discussion between representatives of the Borough and Parish Councils on matters of common and general interest.   Certain matters, such as discussion of specific planning applications or licensing matters, will necessarily be excluded (but this does not precluded discussion of the Borough Council’s general policies or procedures relating to such matters).   It shall be the Chairman or other person presiding at the Forum to determine whether a matter is appropriate for discussion by the Forum, having regard to advice from the Democratic Services Officer in attendance.
