Appointments Sub-Committee

In the following circumstances, the Appointments Committee will operate through a sub-committee arrangement:  

·       For decisions relating the conduct and capability of those officers listed under items 2 and 3 in Table 3.02 in the Constitution, acting as an Investigating and Disciplinary panel.

·       For decisions on the appointment of those officers detailed at item 4 in Table 3.02 in the Constitution, acting as an interviewing panel.

·       For joint appointments with the NHS in Gloucestershire, which are within the remit of the Appointments Committee.   Membership of the sub-committee will be established each time, compromising up to 5 members and will be politically balanced.
