About

The Gloucestershire Health and Wellbeing Partnership is a statutory Committee of the One Gloucestershire Integrated Care System (ICS), established jointly between the NHS Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Gloucestershire County Council as equal partners and statutory members. The Gloucestershire Integrated Care Partnership is a requirement of Section 26 of the Health and Care Act 2022.   The Partnership is a key component of the governance architecture for the One Gloucestershire ICS. Alongside the ICB, its purpose is to deliver the four fundamental purposes of the One Gloucestershire Integrated Care System, including: -

•              Improving outcomes in population health and healthcare

•              Tackling inequalities in outcomes, experience, and access

•              Enhancing productivity and value for money

•              Helping the NHS support broader social and economic development   The Partnership has a statutory duty to prepare an Integrated Care Strategy to set out how the assessed population needs of Gloucestershire and strategic priorities for health and wellbeing will be met by the Integrated Care Board, NHS England, or the responsible local authorities whose areas coincide with or fall wholly or partly within its area.
