The full Council is made up of all 48 Borough Councillors and is responsible for a number of key functions which include setting the Council's annual budget and council tax levels each year, and adopting major policies. The full Council meets on seven occasions each year and is chaired by the Mayor. We have CCTV operating in our public gallery, and it is expected that members of the public attending our meetings should act respectfully at all times and in compliance with the reasonable instructions of the Mayor or chair of the meeting. The Council does not permit any banners, placards, or flags to be taken into the Council Chamber, public gallery, or on to Council premises.
