Human Resources Committee

The purpose of the Human Resources Committee is to take a corporate strategic view of the Councils’ Human Resource policies to ensure they contribute effectively to the overall delivery of the corporate strategy. The Committee will appoint chief officers to the Councils and recommend appointment of the Head of Paid Service to the relevant Authority for Full Council to determine.   The Committee’s full terms of reference and delegated functions can be viewed in Part 2, Section E of the Council's Constitution.
