Licensing Sub Committee

The Licensing Sub Committee comprise three councillors of the Licensing Committee who consider hearings and applications in relation to activities regulated by the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005. The Licensing Committees also consider applications and hearings relating to hackney carriage and private hire licences.   The Council appoints a pool of Councillors, who may chair meetings of the Licensing Sub Committee, each year at the Annual Council meeting.
