Governance Committee

The Committee deals with a variety of issues relating to the way in which the Council is run, including making recommendations to the Council about changes to the Council's Constitution, appointing Councillors and other people to a wide range of organisations on which the Council is represented, overseeing the facilities made available to Councillors to enable them to do their work and ensuring that the Council's corporate governance arrangements comply with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
