The Committee includes Elected Members and Independent Co-optees who maintain an overview of the Council’s constitution and makes recommendations to Council on any changes to policy and constitutional amendments. The Committee also considers matters relating to the Council’s financial management, including internal and external audit matters, along with providing a robust challenge to the Councils arrangements and monitoring for areas in need of improvement.
